The evening was world class. I took my two daughters for the Omakase. We were absolutely blown away by the ambience, the service, the quality of the food, but most importantly the extraordinary technique of Chef Fujitani. We three have been to Japan so we can compare her to the best of the best. We will return.

More than expected, even for the price. Warm atmosphere, intimate dining experience. We had a lovely and delicious meal. Our chef, Nanako Fujitani, was great !

We were here for 2024 Valentine's Day and it was an excellent experience. The value was more than there and we were extremely satisfied. From that experience, we decided to come back in August 2024 for our anniversary and it was a terrible disappointment. For $250 per person before tax and tip, we were served 8 pieces of subpar nigiri that was warm and at times had that not fresh "fishy" taste. And of the 8 nigiri pieces, 2-3 pieces were not even fresh fish, leaving only about 2 pieces of fish that tasted fresh and appetizing. Besides us was a couple that went for the $350 18 piece nigiri omakase, and theirs didn't look too much better than ours. We had better and fresher fish at a local sushi restaurant. We also had to wait a substantial amount of time between appetizer courses and was left staring at the chef until the chef realized our appetizer was still missing 10 minutes later. We were left extremely underwhelmed with our experience and felt that this was worth more along the lines of $100-$150 with the quality of fish and service received. In total, there is a mandatory 20% gratuity ($105 tip) and the final bill came out to be $681.76 with 2 drinks. Unfortunately from this experience, we began to understand why almost the entire Azabu restaurant was empty compared to completely packed in February; it felt as though they were trying to save money in little places like the freshness of the fish but that in turn had a huge impact. From today's underwhelming experience, we are disappointed to say that we will not be returning again.

I was disappointed with my dining experience at this restaurant. For $350 per person, I expected more interaction and assistance from the chef, but that wasn't the case. The staff member who prepared our food didn't engage with us at all. The environment was cramped, it’s way too close to each other, making it super uncomfortable. I was especially disappointed because this meal was to celebrate my partner's and my graduation, which should have been a special occasion. Instead, it felt rushed and left us both with a very bad experience. If you like to spend a bit more money, you could definitely find much better service and food elsewhere. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would only give this restaurant a 5. It's the kind of place we would never want to patronize again!!!!

Wow, what an incredible experience from The moment we stepped in and started with the spicy margarita that is infused with Shishito peppers. We enjoyed the omakase style dinner and we absolutely blown away. We will Certainly be back !
