It is noted on the website that there is music on Sunday starting at 3. We left at 7, no music at all. Our waitress left at 4 and we were supposed to have a new waitress. We waited an hour, no new waitress. Finally flagged several people down and a new waitress was finally assigned to us. The crab appetizer was difficult to crack open and really slippery with all of the butter. No flavor in the crab at all, for $18. Expected more here.

Great restaurant. there was a soccer game on so it was pretty loud but that’s fine. i think the waitress didn’t put our food order in when we ordered it. we waited like 20 minutes after ordering and she came by and asked us if we were ready for our food. then another 10 minutes went by before the food came. some restaurants do this for some reason, it needs to stop.

Service was less than desirable. Waiting about 10 minutes for someone to show up at our table. We ordered all drinks and food all at once. Our food came out before the beers we ordered and the appetizer never showed up. The food was good. Nothing special. Plenty of other Irish places in Boston better than this. Can't see me going back

Hey Steve, Sorry about your experience today. The FOH team did have a someone called out of their shift so different stations got a bit behind & it seems like our newest tam member needs some additional training... Obviously, this experience is not what we strive to provide our guest & I've already taken actions to correct mistakes that happened today. If your ever decide to stop in again, please ask for myself or book through an open table reservation (I left a note on your file) So we can get you a drink & a couple apps on us! Appreciate the feedback. Hope you have a great holiday season Steve! Kindest Regards Stephen Mullen General Manager The Dubliner Boston MA

Our server was great. But the food was bland (maybe they boiled the chicken breast, with skin on, that came with the salad?). And over $80 for two people (a drink each, salad each, shared app) is too expensive if the food is blah.

Great go-to Irish pub near the downtown trains! Good to see it hasn't gone downhill since the Kinsale days.

Although it was not quiet due to the bar, this place had a warm and comfortable atmosphere. We started with the Dubliner sharing plate and this did not disappoint. We followed it up with the fish and chips because why not we were on vacation. The fish and chips blew us out of the water. Absolutely delicious! If you are not a tartar sauce fan, the tartar sauce they serve will absolutely change your mind.
