First time at The Duck. Felt like a good local restaurant/pub. Menu was good. Food was good. All in all a very pleasant lunch. The burgers were “superior” to quote my other half. My seabass was very good. And my daughter practically licked the plate (pork belly).

I booked The Duck based on a recommendation but sadly it did not live up to expectations. We waited an hour for our table , service was poor to fair , the attitude was ‘well we are so busy’ and the portions for what was being charged were inadequate. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Quality as to be expected at the Duck but quantity needs to be more especially at the price. Disappointed to wait nearly 30 mins for our booked time.

The starters were very tasty but very small, more like haute cuisine. The cod was very good and cooked perfectly. My naked burger was once again pretty small. Overall, the food was good. However the service was fantastic!

It was great to be back at this lovely place under new management after all the turbulence it's been through recently. We could find nothing to fault and everything to enjoy. We'll be back soon!

Really enjoyed our meal, the food was imaginative, well presented and tasted lovely. Log burners, great music and a real country atmosphere. Service excellent and defiantly recommend and will certainly come again.
