   We came here on Valentine's day for an evening meal while having a golden chance to be child free for a few hours! The food was fantastic (big up the Chefs!), Staff were very polite and helpful with a special mention to the young lady who told us it was her 1st shift. If she hadn't told us, we wouldn't have known! Service was really good and would absolutely consider coming here again for food (Normally come here for a tipple while our toddler is napping as they have a good drinks selection and its our local😅). Also to mention the upstairs seating area is nicely set up with probably about 30-40 covers total which made it a very nice atmosphere for a date night. If you are ever considering booking a meal here, they certainly do not disappoint!

   Very pleased with the overall dining experience, will defo be going back. Some may say room for improvement but I say too perfect is sterile & pretentious .... this had a real homely atmosphere.

   Ordered food and waited over 40 minutes until food arrived. Food was average - pork belly had no crisp to top and was soggy fat. We then sat for over an hour after finishing waiting for our table to be cleared! Eventually had to go down and ask for someone to clear it and was met by a staff member who rolled her eyes and didn’t even apologise! Asked to speak to the manager who was very blasé about the whole situation and didn’t seem bothered at all and have a very half hearted apology! I would not recommend and will not be going back!

   Lovely Sunday lunch, all good was high quality and fresh, including children's food. Small menu but all done very well, with a good choice of drinks. Have drink here many times but never eaten, but will definitely be going back for a Sunday roast, and the Yorkshire puddings are enormous!

   Booked a table with room for a pushchair, no room for a pushchair. Was given menu with Sunday roast and other options - went to order other options - not available. Order was overlooked due to an issue we didn't understand so had a very long wait for food and only offered a 10% discount. When food eventually came was cold so had to be sent back!

Our Sunday menu is advertised on our website, clearly stating that on a Sunday we focus on serving great roasts, with a selected few items from our regular menu to accompany the Sunday roasts.    Food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful, good atmosphere if a little too noisy for the older members of the group. Very grateful for the team making a fuss of my son on his birthday. Would definitely recommend!

   The chicken with Mac and cheese wasn’t value for money due to a small portion and the chicken was overcooked. We had to prompt a member of staff to order after being sat for 25 mins and the wait for food was long without being told on ordering the expected wait time which was frustrating as we had the cinema booked and had to rush our meals to leave in time even though our table was booked 2 hours before the time we had to leave.

    Venue is nice. Service was dreadful. Food ok but items which were not available were not communicated to diners until you are actually ordering or have ordered and are waiting dor food.
