Food was good but no pigs in blankets immediately available so had to wait for theses but apart from that everything was excellent.

Boxing Day Lunch- Carvery very well presented and good quality but sadly not overly hot. Desert wasn’t pleasant. Look and feel of the venue was lovely.

We had a family lunch at the Farmhouse today and wow what a find. Such a warm welcome for five humans and two large dogs. The staff were all excellent, they all went the extra mile and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The food was really delicious. We ate from the set menu which is brilliant value, a good choice for meat eaters and vegetarians. The food was freshly prepared and piping hot. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to all of the staff for making our pre Christmas lunch so memorable.

On arrival informed that we needed to order quickly as Christmas party next door. Basically booking should not have been accepted, only made booking Tuesday this week. Vegetables on one meal obviously taken from Christmas party menu, overcooked. No dessert available which was not clarified on arrival. Previous visit was fine, but never again.

Our 1st Sunday lunch and certainly will not be our last! Really friendly welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere and fab food. Our pooch loved it too!

Lovely for evening food, would definitely recommend. Not a huge choice for the continental breakfast and some issues with heating and hot water in the rooms. Staff are always amazing and sort issues quickly.
