   OMG ---------- a cold Monday late afternoon & The 5th -- had heaters & fire generated stand alone "fireplaces" placed their warm & secure covered outdoor patio ------ It was glowing & so inviting / I did not think twice - It was perfect------- Service was outstanding w/Rebecca. Drinks were spot on as well as appy's ------ visiting with special friends could not have been better. GO THE FIFTH ............................. Richardson Resident KLM

   Tristan was a fantastic, engaging waiter. The ambiance was good, and the food was flavorful. I recommend this place and will be returning for another date night soon.

   They put us outside in the patio area on a very cold night when there were plenty of seats inside made for an uncomfortable dining experience

   We made reservations for 6pm in doors. When we arrived we were asked if a table was ok. We said we would like a booth and then we were told that only tables were available even though there were 5 booths available. We finished at about 7pm and during the course of our dinner there were times when all but one booth were available. Never was there a time when there was not a booth available. At the time we left there were 5 booths available. There was one of the smaller booths in particular that was never used. Both the waitress and hostess told us we could not have a booth.

   On a first visit to The Fifth a couple of years ago we had a great experience. I booked a reservation again based on the experience for a large work group in from out of town for a meeting. The week of the meeting there was forecasted to be bad weather (snow). The day before the bad weather and our reservation I called The Fifth to ensure them our party WOULD show up for the reservation no matter what, that we were in from out of town and staying at a hotel within walking distance. I was assured we would have a table and a good evening when we arrived and thanked for giving a heads up that we'd honor our reservation even with the coming bad weather. When my party of 12 arrived for our reservation at 7pm the Fifth was closed, I never received a call or any kind of heads up. I was not even extended the courtesy that I had extended the previous day. I can even understand the decision to close after assuring me the restaurant would stay open. But I cannot understand why no one from the Fifth could have even called or texted to let me know they would be closing. We were left without a place for dinner on an evening with most places closing early (understandably). But the common courtesy of a call to say "hey we're closing early" was not given. Disappointed, and I'm sorry, not able to give my business to The Fifth in the future.

    Maricela was our beautiful waitress and was attentive, friendly and patient with us. The experience was amazing and we love the food and ambiance and it’s not too loud.
