Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

    Excellent food, fantastic quaint setting. Beer garden was incredible too and with small gigs as well in the barn, there’s lots going on

    We booked a table for 19.30. The table was not quite ready so we waited until 19.45. We ordered a main meal only The meals arrived after 20.30 and we left just after 21.00. I was asked if all was OK as we have eaten there many times. I told the server no and he did knock 2 drinks off the bill It was my Wife's birthday. It did ruin a good day

    A beautiful pub serving lovely food . The staff did seem to forget about us between leaving the dessert menus and us actually ordering (we had to find someone after a very long wait)

    Delicious food in a wonderful setting! The Fleece was busy on a sunny Friday evening - we were glad we'd booked! It's asparagus season, and there was plenty of local asparagus on the menu. Our steamed asparagus starter was perfectly cooked and all the food was piping hot.

    A wonderful old pub serving delicious food—and, in season, excellent asparagus! Service is very attentive and prompt! You feel completely indulged as a guest!

    The service was good and all staff very personable and friendly. However, the food was very average. We waited a long time for the food and when it came it was cold. As we were out with friends for a celebration, it became very difficult to discuss this with staff.

    Delicious food, great service. Beautiful pub. Tempura asparagus was absolutely divine! The only criticism we could think of, was that we had to go pay at the bar after our meal. The bar was relatively busy, so we had to wait a while to just pay our bill. Will definitely be returning.
