Came out for our anniversary. I requested a note and a bottle of sparkling rosé wine and they gave us both. Amazing service. Our waitress was extremely nice and friendly. Got multiple “happy anniversaries” from staff which made us feel welcome. Food was amazing. The Fountain Room made our anniversary dinner feel special. Would definitely come back again.

Food wasn’t great, just ok. Brioche bread was terrible, stale. Not worth the price.

First time there. Went for anniversary. Asked for a good seating. Sat us next to a business dinner table. 5pm the place had Many empty tables they could’ve put us at. Server was absolute trash, which made the experience not worth it at all. When I hear another server all lively and telling his table the specials and everything they have while we get handed the Menu and barley check up on. I’m good. Not gonna bash this place, but I’m gonna bash the service

Service was great for a busy weekend (Taylor Swift performances). Brie appetizer was good and would order again. We ordered the pork shank and salmon and both my wife and I were pleased and would order again. The cocktails were the stars of the show. I had a traditional Manhattan and my wife had a Prosecco/strawberry cocktail that was excellent. Overall had a great experience and would return.

Food knocked it put of the park but service felt mediocre at best for fine dining. Our server lacked menu knowledge and presentation skills. If you want a full steakhouse experience in Indy, I suggest St. Elmo’s

Six of us went to The Fountain Room last weekend the morning after the Taylor Swift concert. We were running late since our hotel’s valet line was running slowly and they responded to my inquiry on OpenTable about whether they had flexibility in the reservation time and pushed us back 15 minutes- whew! The restaurant is beautiful! Art deco fun. We really enjoyed the ambiance and tableware. We ordered biscuits, Brie brûlée, and the cinnamon roll to share for appetizers. Not a bad bite in the bunch. For mains, we also shared the brisket hash, breakfast sandwich, chicken and waffles, and beet and goat cheese salad. Again, it was all wonderful. Even the beet salad was delicious - haha (for non-beet eaters.) Portions are generous so if you get an appetizer, a couple could probably share a meal. If we’re in Indy again, we’ll be back!
