   Great pub. Lively atmosphere with friendly vibe and local feel. Food is terrific. I had Coq au Vin and my partner had risotto - both were excellent. This is a real find. Serving staff were smiley and efficient - difficult to fault.

   Very nice lunch on the terrasse outside, two very well presented starters : Mediterranean tart, and salads.ican recommend the apple tart with custard... Good wine two, all served in good time

   Couldn't fault the food, it was very good. The service was a bit slow, which was understandable for mains because it was busy when we arrived. However it took ages to the point we thought we had been forgotten to order dessert. It was also spoilt by a couple of people nearby watching the football on their tablets at quite a lhigh volume. So had a mixture of music from the pub and crowd noises from the tablets.

   Perfect location for a Date night. Lovely atmosphere and the service was brilliant. The location was busy all evening which shows you how great it is. The outside area was stunning and would be amazing during summer evenings. We will definitely be back again.

   Really lovely food in a traditional pub setting, with great views over the beautiful countryside to the west of Oxford. Service was a little rough around the edges due to inexperience but that’s fine, it all came with a smile. Will be going back.

   The service was very slow from getting our first drink and getting the bill . The food was to a great standard as it has been before. We will return hopefully the service will be better
