   Upon arrival the greeting was welcoming and helpful. Staff were attentive. Place and toilets were clean and eating are spaced well. Food was exceptional, the amounts were plenty and delicious.

   Lovely meal and we were put in a quiet area which is what I'd requested. The starter was quite filling and not sure if I could manage a starter and a main again, however the food is delicious and the service was fantastic 😍

   Food was really lovley. Lots of it and very well cooked. Would happily go back to eat there again. The only downside was we had to chase to ask how long till we got our food as we had been waiting for over an hour. This in itself is not a problem but it would have been nice if they had explained they were busy and the food might take longer than usual when we had ordered rather than explaining this when we asked.

   Can’t fault this place. Great menu such a choice for a lunch time menu. Staff were cheerful and friendly. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious.

   The pub was quiet as it was a Monday. We sat in the bar, which was comfortable and quiet which made conversation easier for 2 members of the party with hearing loss. The food was excellent and hot. There was only one member of staff on duty which meant that there were longish waits for the food to arrive and for our plates to be cleared between courses. If we had been tucked away in the restaurant I think it would have been hard to attract the notice of the waiter/barman.

   Great pub. Lively atmosphere with friendly vibe and local feel. Food is terrific. I had Coq au Vin and my partner had risotto - both were excellent. This is a real find. Serving staff were smiley and efficient - difficult to fault.
