Jeremey was an amazing server beyond what you expect. The wait time was long even with a reservation and food wait was long but we were given a heads up by jeremy. Food was still amazing. Service was impeccable could have been more prepared for valentines day.

Not a good night at The George. Either overbooked or understaffed but reservations were running 30 minutes behind and I am sure it was due to kitchen challenges. Sat down 20 minutes later than reservation and was 15 minutes before we were waited on and 1.5 hours to get food, in which one was completely wrong but didn’t want to risk another 1.5 hour wait. Heard a lot of complaining and unhappy people but will give it another chance on a non holiday.

I booked a reservation for Valentine's Day a month in advance. When I arrived with my date, we were informed that The George was running behind, and that it would be at least 20m minutes before our table was ready. We went to the bar for drinks, but there was standing room only. It was obvious that The George overbooked for the holiday, as we were among many who were waiting for their table. The drinks were excellent though and the bartender was awesome. More than 20 minutes passed before we were seated. We ended up downstairs in the Speakeasy. It was clear that extra tables had been brought in the accommodate more reservations for Valentine's. Overall, the entire restaurant was way too crowded which resulted in so much noise that we had to nearly shout at each other for conversation. We ordered promptly, but noted that the prices were extremely high even for the holiday. It took TWO HOURS from the start of our reservation to when our food was placed on the table. Patrons at the table next to us, who had been there before us, got up and walked out when we and another table next to us received food before they did. The waitstaff was excellent, and the food was delicious! Clearly the staff knew what they were doing. The fault lies with management. The way that tables were crammed in, the restaurant booked beyond reasonable capacity and service, and the increased prices suggests that management was all about the money grab.

This was my 3rd time at the George. Food and service never disappoint! Both are exceptional! It’s pricier than other restaurants I typically visit, but it is so worth it! It is super noisy (all three times I have been sat at a 2-person table in the bar area; next time I will request to sit in the dining room area). If you love live music, the bar area is a great place to be, but don’t expect to have both music and conversation; also the locals sitting at the bar area definitely use their outdoor yelling voices to be heard over the music (so if you’re into ease-dropping, this could be your place! lol). In short, the bar is great if you know you’re walking in to a music and conversation room that will limit the amount of conversation you can have at your own table. If you are looking for dinner and conversation, I would not recommend NOT being sat in the bar area.

We went pre-theater with another couple, who had never been there before. Everyone had a fabulous meal! The menu has a lot of variety and they always have excellent specials, as well.

Usually, everything is good at the George . Tonight Our waitress was extremely slow, and we almost missed our play because of dessert.. It was very frustrating, she knew we were going to the PPAC. She waited until last minute to give the complimentary dessert .

Great experience for our 1st time @ The George! Our server, Dan was fantastic, our meals were fantastic and the overall vibe is great! We will definitely be back! Was a nice touch to have one of the owners, Alex check in on us a few times. A+!
