Discover The George: A modern dining destination led by Director of Culinary Eraj Jayawickreme. The George pays homage to the historic Georgian Room, a Seattle icon since 1924. Designed by renowned Spanish studio Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the space blends history with timeless aesthetics. Hand-painted tiles, Art Deco chandeliers, and marble floors enhance the ambiance, while floor-to-ceiling iron and glass doors and original Palladian windows complete the vision. With a private dining room and semi-private enclaves, The George is perfect for groups and special occasions.

In the last year the food as decreased in quality by a lot. Service is always great though. This was the second time since having my first bad meal and it was the nail in the coffin. This is off my list of go-tos.

It was clear there was a staffing shortage, as the party had to wait over 30 minutes for their food to arrive. One gentleman's soup was cold and another's sandwich did not come with the au jus as it was supposed. For the most part the quality of the food was great and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The staff who were there were very nice, but there were not enough staff to serve guests.

Really lovely time! It was our first night away from our baby and everyone treated us so nicely and went out of their way to make us feel special. The food was delicious and interesting without being stuffy. Succinct and well thought out wine list. The remodel here is beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!

It is a beautiful room...we have dined there a few times. We have never been overly impressed with the food, but it has been acceptable. The service last night was really unimpressive. We arrived for a 7pm booking, after the theater rush. The restaurant was then pretty empty and we had trouble getting service for anything, including pouring the two wines we enjoyed. Food was again good, but not remarkable. And expensive, with no discount on valet parking.
