   We had another really lovely meal with friends at the Golden Ball - delicious and imaginative food, great service and relaxed ambience. Will be returning soon.

   Went with a friend for lunch. Been before and was impressed. Had the three course set menu, delicious food, lovely attentive service. Very, very happy! How rare these days to have predictably good food.

   The Golden Ball is a consistently delightful place to dine . The food is imaginative and delicious . The staff are warm , welcoming and just always seem happy to see you . It is also peaceful - lovely to be able to chat over lunch .

   We had a bit of a strange experience in that we were assigned a table inside that we were happy with, opted to go outside for a drink first and then our table was given away with no explanation or apology. We then had to wait 15 minutes at the bar for another table. The new table was right by a door which rattled every time a door closed or someone moved about which was very annoying. However, we did mention this and they apologised and wedged some card in to stop the rattle. The food was pretty good and service was very pleasant but the experience with the table meant I was on edge so didn’t enjoy it overall.

   We sat in the garden and had a delicious lunch from the set menu. Fresh and tasty and the bream was amazing. Very tranquil garden with lots of space and shade too as it was hot. This place never disappoints. Love it!

    Ben and Priya continue to improve both the creativity of the food and service quality. The Ambiance is cosy and quiet. It is not cheap but remains good value
