   On a nice day it would be nice to eat on the veranda with a lovely view, but inside is great, menu was good and the food was good on arrival, will definitely use again.

   Sunday lunch for 9 adults, with no complaints at all. Plenty of beef cooked to perfection, tasty pork and lamb roast dinners, followed by rhubarb crumble and custard/sticky toffee pudding. Staff all pleasant and efficient.

   Top quality British cuisine served in a spacious, airy and aesthetically pleasing diningroom. Service is mostly very prompt - aside from occasional delays caused when the kitchen is at or beyond capacity. Watch out for the occasional tough piece of roast meat, but these are rare and easily dealt with with some skilful knife work. I strongly recommend the Cottage Pie with top quality beef. Some might vegetable dishes can come with unusual toppings - including roast hazelnuts and copious amounts of garlic. Options for vegatarians, vegans and gluten intolerant are there, but somewhat thin on the ground - albeit well executed when they do appear. Expect to part with £40 per head, excluding wine, for a three-course Sunday dinner.

   Superb Mother’s Day lunch in the grain store! Service was 10/10, really attentive staff and quick service on a fully booked out lunch service. Cannot fault the food, portions sizes were large and great quality food! Will be back!

   Fantastic mother's day sunday lunch we've been to the grain store numerous times and always enjoyed the food but today they really did a smashing job very busy being mother's day but fantastic service great food well done and thanks for an amazing afternoon.

   I went for the first time last month for lunch witha friend and I loved it .Have been 4 or 5 times since and even today for Mothers Day breakfast with my daughter .Love that it’s dog friendly as usually take Milo my Cockapoo then walk my the picturesque lake . It’s our new favourite place 🌸🥰🌸

    Went with friends, it was our second time and it won't be our last. We ate upstairs as we like that dogs aren't allowed upstairs, just our preference. The whole place is so lovely, the food is gorgeous and the service is excellent. Its our favourite place
