What a fantastic find, just off the high street in Rye. Fabulous atmosphere, lovely warm welcome from staff who were professional and smartly dressed. Great cocktails! Table service was great, staff were attentive but not overbearing. Ambiance was amazing as was the jazz duet that were performing on the night, the singer even came to talk to us! Sound system was clear and musical but importantly not too loud so you could still talk. I just wish there was somewhere like this where we live, we would be regulars!! Truly memorable evening!

I wish I'd seen other reviews. Charged £25 to book a table... An absolute scam. Others just wandering in and being seated for free. Such a rip off. Also not jazz, just some bloke playing covers. If you want to spend £75 on 3 cocktails and bang average piano covers then this is your venue. Really poor show, worst experience, in fact only bad experience we had in Rye. Avoid this place.

We paid £50 for two of us for live music and hoped for drinks and an hour and a half of live music before our dinner. There was no live music for one hour and 15 minutes of our stay. It’s laughable that we had to pay £50 for a table. There are better places for a drink without a fee.

Gorgeous little cocktail bar tucked down a side street. Nice nibbles and fab drinks. We went on a Friday when there’s no live music which was a shame, so a bit less of an atmosphere than I imagine when the live artists are on, but it was a lovely place to have a quiet drink and I’d definitely go back

A £12.50 per head non returnable fee to reserve a table is outrageous considering there is no cover charge for turning up. So £75 just for the privilege of booking a table before buying a drink. No jazz on offer as such just a local musician playing a wide range of songs and a couple with an aggressive sounding dog barking out loud just behind us. Not a champagne jazz bar atmosphere at all.

Think we might have been unlucky but the music wasn’t Jazz - it was cheesy covers and the singer really brought the mood down! also paid so much for our booking and didn’t get a reserved seat

We had a fantastic evening with our friends. Paying to book is a nit of a rip off but we had a great place in the lounge. The musician/ singer was brilliant. The ambience and general atmosphere was perfect. The place is a bit pricey, but we didn't mind as we had such a good evening
