   The chairs on the deck area need sliders, the sound of moving a chair on cement is loud and most unpleasant. The service was ok but there was 1 waitress for clearing and service...for EVERYONE, very bad management. All food was excellent, and of course we will come again as it is my favorite in Livermore.

   The chicken sandwich that was ordered was icy cold. I’ve never had a cold almost frozen chicken sandwich ever. The french fries lacked any flavor and we’re overcooked from frozen. Not a meal I would’ve expected for Puente.

   Great service and excellent place to have a business lunch! We will definitely come back. The view of the golf course was beautiful. We did wine tasting at the tasting room so we didn’t order wine.

   We had lunch at The Grill after a wine tasting at Wente. The food was very good. We sat outside but were warned of yellow jackets visiting the outside seat. We did not see any until we were about to leave. Good service, and a nice view of the golf course, oak hillsides . Menu was varied with lots of choices.

   There are always bees that are problematic. It really detracts from the overall experience. My club sandwich was skimpy and my wife’s hamburger and side salad was not great. The salad was a bunch or lettuce thrown on the plate.

   The ambience was beautiful, server was excellent and the food was good. The starter platter appetizer was delicious. I had an eggplant pasta my husband ordered fish and chips, and my friend had a hamburger. Overall the food was good.

    Terrible service. I didn’t realize Wente closed their restaurant. This is casual dining for golfers, not patrons from their tasting experience. I called in advance to let them know we were running late, but the hostess balked at our 10 minute arrival past the reservation time, saying the rest closes at 6:30. Wow. Then a couple of us ordered 2 Cadillac margaritas with one without triple sec. The bartender brought them over and was so confused about which one was modified that he silently took both drinks and returned them in a much lighter color as they both didn’t have a hint of Grand Marnier. My modified drink was still so sweet that I couldn’t manage more than a sip. Disappointing.
