   unfortunately we tried Hampton Social one more time to celebrate a birthday as we have done on several occasions. As was the case on our last visit, the experience was below par. We waited an hour for water. We were never asked about coffee. The soup was cold. Two of our guests were very unhappy with their choices (brunch food). And the noise level was so high that we had to shout. To add to our misery, the average cost per person was approximately $20 per person. Not a good value! This would have to be our last visit. Too bad, great location.

   It was a wonderful experience as always when I visit the Hampton Social. The only minor suggestion is to not char the brussel sprouts as hard, because it’s so strong where you can’t really enjoy and taste the brussels.

   The Hampton Social is consistently good and the service is always friendly and fast. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is very welcoming and fun.

   Truffle fries and tacos were superb. Also enjoyed the banana cream pie on a waffle

   We had a reservation on a Saturday night. I understand that this is the busiest time for restaurants, and indeed it was a loud lively scene. This would have been fine, but everything took FOREVER. We waited too long just for water and then when our order was finally taken, the wait for two basic (overpriced) salads was unreasonable. Our friendly server tried to make up for it in friendliness, and we were given a free appetizer and even beers, but the whole experience was still unpleasant.

   The atmosphere is lovely, but overall the food and service was just meh. The burger should be perfect, but it was under seasoned and small. The ahi tuna salad looked like it was thrown together, and not much tuna. We also had a dietary request with the salad but they delivered it wrong. Fish and chips, small amount of fish and flavorless. Captive audience because it’s at the mall, but this chain should do better. Service was okay. Maybe understaffed.

   Too much fried food, probably hit a busy load night as it looked like prom/high school dance. Menu looked light and healthy but too much mayo and frying.
