   We loved this Pig n beer Easter weekend special. Saw it on Facebook and thought it would make a good outing. We won a pound of bacon.

   The food was great it was greasy but not too much and the service was great until coming to pay it took awhile. I do think the drink menu was nice because it was different and good to try something new

   glad we reserved a table as when we arrived at 430 it was already very busy in restaurant! Craft beer was very good and reasonably priced--food was great, we all shared four dishes--plenty of food for four of us--waitress was attentive and very efficient. It is a little noisy but didn't bother us as we were chatting amongst us

   Four of us dining together, all felt the food was expensive for what was served, and in particular the burnt end meat was covered in sauce I believe to cover up all the fat that was in the serving.

   We have eaten at the restaurant many times and are always pleased with our meal. This time was not a good experience. After spending more than $350 for a family of 7 the meat was all overdone. The chicken was the only moist meat on the platter. The beef and pork was so dry and chewy. Our grandkids had the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu which they have had before and when it arrived they couldn’t eat it because it was so spicy. Our server kindly took it back to the kitchen. Rather than making a new order the kitchen decided they would just pour more cheese sauce on it. Neither of the kids could eat it because it was so rich. It’s unfortunate because when our family all get together we loved going to the Hatching Post for the meat platter and sides. We will think twice now unfortunately. 😢

   Amazing as always, it's our go-to spot. Love veggie options as well. The broccolini is to die for!! We will be back

   Was very noisy. They asked three times if it was a special occasion, I advised them that it was a birthday. We spent $150 for three people and they couldn’t even bring an $11 cheesecake to the birthday gal. What was the point in asking so many times. Everything we ordered was almost too spicy. It was very noisy despite only having three tables of diners. We won’t be going back.
