   Great food! We went two times while visiting the area for the tennis tournament. Loved the food , service and everything about this restaurant both times. Definitely will go back. Loved the mushroom pizza and grandma’s meatballs. Felt like we were back eating in NY!!

   We really enjoyed both of our visits to the Hideout. The food is most pleasant and the service is very professional and friendly. This is a good alternative to the corporate chain restaurant that is the norm in the desert...

   Disappointed in the service. We were seated, then waited 10 minutes before any servers noticed we were being neglected. Finally a guy appeared, and when my wife asked the cost of swapping chicken for shrimp on her salad, he said “ I don’t know, probably just a small up charge”. After finishing our meal, we waited another 10 minutes before his return and I mentioned we were done. It took another 7-8 minutes and then he returned, again without the bill. When the bill came, wife’s $26 salad had a $12 additional for the shrimp. Pretty lousy training of the staff.
