   What a beautiful place, so pretty and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful as I was in a wheelchair. A great selection on the menu. Our main meals were fabulous. We all had the fish & chip meal. Their desserts were disappointing, which was a shame. I would definitely go back there for a meal.

   What a find, visited after family trip to Anglesey Abbey Easter Sunday. From our arrival the Staff were amazing and courteous. The 5 of us were seated promptly even though the restaurant was extremely busy. The food was amazing from starters to dessert The meat on the roast was cooked perfectly as were the veg and roadt potatoes with an extra side of gravy which is a lovely touch, and the portions are extremely generous. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff they were excellent as was the Chef and we send our thanks and compliments to them all. We will most definitely be back.

   Apart from a mistake with serving a different wine to what we ordered (which was eventually resolved correctly) we had a fabulous meal and a wonderful night out.

   As the restaurant was slightly hampered by staff shortages, we had to wait a little while for service. However the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We much appreciated choosing from an excellent menu and all the courses - in our case, three - were adequate portions, perfectly prepared and most enjoyable. I am now very much looking forward to visiting again soon.

   The staff were great, the burgers were amazing. We had a lovely evening, my only gripe was the sticky toffee pudding wasn't the greatest, it tasted good but wasn't really a sticky toffee. My friends brownie was top notch too and overall we had no complaints. We will return.

   The food was excellent (as in really very unexpectedly good and much better than we usually expect when eating out), the staff were kind and we sat in the snug which was full of character and very peaceful, as everyone else was eating in the restaurant area. Highly recommend.

    I booked for myself and my two sisters to celebrate my father’s 90 th birthday and the pub staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were warmly welcomed and the food was just so delicious and well presented. My father said it was one of the best meals he has ever had. The staff were attentive and friendly and the ambience within the pub was ideal. We will definitely be returning and I have already recommended the pub to a few of my friends.
