   The food and service here is always excellent. I've been going every 2 or three months for about 4 years now. Never once been disappointed and will continue to eat here

   This was my first to this restaurant for many years but the food menu was really good and the quality was excellent . Service was friendly and efficient and I will return in the future when in the area.

   It's a bit off the beaten track and you definitely need a car to get to it. The building is old and has a lot of character. We ate in the snug which is very cosy. Only one real ale beer available but it was Ok. Wine good and reasonably priced. Food was very good. Service excellent.

   As usual the food, service & atmosphere was brilliant, as was our Christmas dinner (for 11 people). Really would recommend The Hole in the Wall. We’ve never been disappointed

   It was disgusting! After I found a hair on my meal, the waiter went to the kitchen with the plate and came back, saying that the hair did not come from any of the staff , I said to him , do you think that is mine?, then he asked me if I wanted him to bring the hair back, which I said No please. All of this was unaceptable, we have to pay 100% of the meal, they did not offer even to have a desert as a compliment !!!

   Another lovely meal at the Hole in the Wall. I had the grilled squid again which was wonderful as as last time. I tried the seafood linguine this time and it had a rich flavoured tomato sauce with just the right level of spice and fish flavoures

    My first visit in a while. Parking is very limited. Many cars over spill into 2 surrounding roads including us. I was surprised by the size of the dining area. It was very busy looking around the roast looked good. We both ordered the roast beef. My friend requested a 2nd Yorkshire, they happily obliged. We felt the meal could have been hotter, nothing worse than lukewarm food. We did mention it at the end of the meal. I would return to see if it was a one off due to the high level of covers they were dealing with. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly accommodating servers.
