Women’s bathroom was horrendous. Paper towels and feminine products everywhere. This was our first impression - before we even sat at our table. The waiter could not get the gin martini order right so we wondered what the rest of the night would hold. Food was fine - nothing outstanding and service was very slow. Twice the bus boy tried to bring the wrong appetizer to our table. Waiter said he would bring a free dessert since we had to wait so long but at the end of the night he came up and said “are you ready for the check? Didn’t offer coffee, dessert or anything. We had a table right on the water which was great … but we have no plans to return!

Did not like the cocktails, steak and frites (fries were good, steak was not, they brought it again for us but did not like the second time either. Place is cute!

The House on the River Weekend Brunch "Board" was lovely for our party of 4 on the terrace, outdoors with river view. Our server was extremely attentive. We were very happy with everything and look forward to a repeat visit in the near future.

It took absolutely forever for us to get our food; two hours. But server was really nice and accommodating. And you get to take a tour of the houses after you’re done eating.

This was an interesting experience. The senior hostess rules the tables with an iron fist, but the service was hilariously inept. Our server was very nice, but the kitchen seemed to be working at random. We were told the whole fish would take some time, so we ordered a large appetizer to share. It never arrived, but the mains did before scheduled. The table next to us were served all they ordered at the same time - mains, appetizer, salads. The food itself was quite good, but I repeat, the overall experience was hilariously inept! Very pleasant location, though ...

We did the Vevue experience it was lovely. The decor the food presentation in Vevue boxes adorable. The food was great we had the steak frites , and waffles and berries all was great our server was very helpful. The DJ. In the background great EDM music. Overall great we will definitely do it again. We did this in January so weather was perfect I probably would skip this during the summer times as humidity is brutal in FL. Highly recommend to do it.
