   Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. It was my wife's birthday so we were with the family and the day after, we are all still talking about the experience we had. The overall conclusion was that we had the best food we have had in a long time. The only improvement would be to have slightly more room around the table we had for 7.

   Great presentation of food and very nice people, but the food taste was good but could be better in the flavour department, dessert is the best personally for me.

   We selected the superior Ivy experience menu which was very good though we thought not as good value for money as our previous visit soon after the branch opened. The booking was made several months ago thus we were surprised when offered seating on the lower floor which lacked any ambiance as we would have been the only diners. Quite surprisingly there were several large families with small children who were seated upstairs.I raised this with front desk and we were moved to upstairs seating as requested. There was also no recognition of it being a birthday celebration or the fact we had booked for the Ivy experience which seemed a bit disjointed. The excellent quality of food avoided any overall disappointment. A discretionary service charge of circa 13% had been added and when questioned the Staff were cooperative in revising this to our preferred tip which was more aligned considering the fairly high value of spend for our group

   Sadly although we stipulated it was an 18th bday for our Son we didn’t get this acknowledged by the staff The children’s meal took the longest to come and all 4 x adults had finished their meals This was very disappointing as children should always be served their meal first and was sad for my son to watch us eat

   Fantastic atmosphere and service. The set menu for NYE was very limited and not to my taste, it was ok. Such a shame not to have some of my favourites like the duck and chicken dishes.

   I had the dinner in NY Eve in The Ivy Asia Guildford in 2022 and I had amazing experience, lots of food which was amazingly presented and tested incredible, service was very professional and we felt looked after and had amazing experience, so we booked again this year and unfortunately it was not even close to our previous experience. We have dinned in Ivy Asia in Guildford and Brighton over the years and food was always very tasty. We had the Experience menu before and it was amazing and good value for money , but we were very disappointed this time. The food was tasty, but the portions were extremally small, for £125 per person there was definitely no value for money this time. The service was far from perfect and we were charged for it 13.5% ! So overall I am very disappointed with NY Eve experience this year. I truly recommend to visit the Ivy Asia in every other day, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for NY Eve experience !

    They put 6 of us on a very small table , so had to ask to move to a larger table. Service slow with drinks. Drinks ordered never arrived. One of our parties starter never arrived. We had to ask - by the time it arrived the rest of us had finished our starters. It was a late lunch booking so yes busy but it was not full. Have been before and had good service so was disappointed at the service for our NYE lunch.
