   Overall it was very nice but we didn’t understand why the waiter told us we couldn’t have the champagne that we had selected to have with our afternoon tea and could only have Prosecco. It was an option on the menu however, they were unable to serve it to us. The waiter mumbled something, we thought he said they couldn’t open a whole bottle of champagne for two glasses.

   An absolutely fabulous meal and the staff were amazing too. Needed to be more Christmassy inside though.

   Table not available until 25 minutes after booking. Thereafter service just ok, food good, restaurant somewhat noisy.

    Utterly useless turn up for a drink at the bar so disorganised won’t let us have a drink. Not allowing walk ins didn’t advertise on their website!!! Don’t bother

I truly apologize for your experience this afternoon; I understand how disappointing it can be to arrive and be turned away, especially as you frequent our restaurant so often. As explained to you at the door, we were not accepting walk-ins as the bar area was being utilized as a waiting area for reservations. I apologize if this was not communicated clearly or if it caused any confusion. Being Christmas eve, we are fully booked today and extremely busy. We appreciate your comments about our communication, and we will work on ensuring this information is communicated more clearly to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.
