   Requested a quiet table (we booked many weeks ago) and it was not honored. Service was slow and a bit random and our main server disappeared without explanation half way through. The person at the door ( hostess) was brusque and not welcoming.

   Excellent service and food. We loved The Snowman dessert - clever concept and delicious. This Ivy has a great atmosphere and is very well run

   I enjoyed the vegetarian curry despite the fact that our waiter forgot to tell the kitchen tat I REALLY didn't want any coriander shoots sprinkled on it (I picked them off!). One guest had fish and chips which was rated OK. Two guests had fishcakes which they enjoyed. So, all in all good but not outstanding.

   As always, super food, excellent service and great ambience. Love this branch of The Ivy, visit as often as possible and have recommended lots of friends!

   Lovely setting and great seat amongst the foliage but unfortunately some of the meals were quite dry and warm not hot

   Great setting and surroundings. Good welcome and very well designed. The service was friendly but slow and long delays between ordering and food arriving-and drinks even longer. The menu is massive and varied- the food is fine (small portions) but not spectacular. A focussed less expansive menu might work better and be more memorable. £75 per head with only one glass of wine ……….

   Fairly expensive for smallish portions. Had to wait a long time for round of drinks and then ended up with double order

    Great service. Food good as ever and cocktails deserve a special mention! Going early at lunchtime worth it as staff have a bit more time to provide even better service.
