    Dishes overpriced for what they are. It was my first time at The Ivy and I cannot fault the service. Lovely decor but lacking in substance and quality in my opinion. Dishes Very small and not as tasty as I hoped. I had the burrata and risotto.

    We were very excited to have breakfast at the Ivy expecting decadence and delightful tastes… but we left mainly feeling disappointed and overcharged! The set breakfast menu of 22 euro does not include tea or toast… so actually costs 28 euro. It was small portions and really didn’t match up to some of the fabulous breakfasts available across the city. We won’t be back 👎

    Beautifully decorated in true Ivy style, this one has a great layout, which makes it more personal for a couples date than some, which can be a bit cafe like. Felt food choice was a bit limited, but enjoyed the cottage pie- wouldn’t normally order that. Service was perfect- attentive but not over the top- really enjoyable evening!

    Firstly it’s impossible to contact the restaurant. We tried to do to tell them we’d be a few minutes late but couldn’t. Having been called at 20:07 to check if we were coming (for a 20:00 reservation) it was very annoying to be left standing at the bar for 20 minutes for our table to be ready. To be fair they did recognise this and offered three mocktails to the younger members of the party to apologise which was appreciated. The food is good, but it’s expensive. The ambiance is lovely. The waiting staff were very nice.

    I was completely disappointed by the main course as a suggested house specialty. When you only taste tomato sauce in seafood, a lots of tomato sauce. Too expensive for a “tomato salsa” experience.
