Nice atmosphere for a spring time Saturday lunch. Food was good but not up to the usual Ivy standards. Starters - Cheese Soufflé excellent, Salt & Pepper Squid poor, over seasoned and very salty. Mains - Shepherds Pie excellent, Rib Eye steak poor (gristly and tough). Desert - Tiramisu excellent, Bomb excellent. Wine - NZ Sauvignon Blanc excellent. Overall service fair. Should be noted that Rib Eye cost was taken off the bill - unexpected and unprompted, thank you. Generally a pleasant lunch with overall rating fair to good.

We had a nice time, however, we were not placed in a great table. It was boxed in at the back of the restaurant: we were moved to a better table. The food was nice, but the service was slow. Empty glasses were not cleared for a while. It took quite a while to get the staffs attention to order and our desserts sat getting cold on a tray, while no one brought them over. We had a good time overall, but we have had better experiences at the Ivy group.

Quite a large Ivy restaurant just off Oxford Street. Food as always was good for a brand that has branched out substantially. Retains the essence of the original restaurant which is literally around the corner!

We arrived five minutes early but shown a table immediately. During the next 10 minutes 3 different members of staff asked for our order. When we did order our starter took just under an hour to arrive. Our main was slow too and we had to leave quickly to catch trains. They charge 13.5% service charge which was just over £15. They did deduct it without hesitation when we complained. Not up to the usual standard .

We didn’t know what to expect from the ivy brasserie but we pleasantly surprised. Lovely decor, nice atmosphere, service was good but a shift change meant we were left waiting for a while after requesting the desert menu but other than this small indiscretion, the service was friendly and swift. The food is very tasty and portion sizes ample and the cocktails are worth a dabble. We will visit again.

They’ll ask you if how you’d like your roast cooked. We said medium and the roast beef came out almost same texture as jerky. Lamb was slightly better. We only tried those two roasts. Maybe their other food was good but I would avoid this place for their Sunday roasts. Honestly pretty bad

This is a great location and lively ambience in a beautiful space. Our server was inattentive and not very helpful. The food was fine but nothing we had was great.

I had initially booked a table outside, once I showed up, they put us way inside claiming the outside area would be closing early. After my strict objection (given my insistence on an outside table when booking and that there was no mention of the closure of the area to begin with), I got my outside table…funny enough, the outside space stayed open all throughout our meal. Apart from the weird incident with the seating staff, the service staff were all lovely and helpful. Food, on the other hand, was quite average.
