We have been to this restaurant many times throughout the years and have never had such a disappointing experience. We ordered burgers and asked for them to be medium. When they arrived they were completely cooked through and very dry - almost like they had been frozen. We complained and the waitress said they couldn’t be cooked medium due to health and safety - which we didn’t explain when we ordered otherwise we would have ordered something else. We then ordered fish and it took along time to come out. We were 3 hours and it dampened a birthday celebration. Faye dealt with our complaint very professionally but it has put us off coming back - especially when we purposefully chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Very poor.

A very pleasant experience. A nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Food good but not anything out of the ordinary for the price. Will return.

Lovely restaurant inside,went for Xmas menu 2 courses bit disappointed with the soup like warm,steak and chips good sprouts perfect ,pleased with the wine expected it to be more expensive ,a bit over priced but expected just because of the name I think.I am glad I went for the experience . One small issue our bottle of wine was put into the cooler but at the back of our table so we had to keep getting up to refill bit odd we thought.

Lovely celebration for my mother’s birthday. Waiters were exceedingly attentive, food was fabulous…not had a bad experience at The Ivy. Keep up the fantastic standard.

The food was excellent and great value for money but the evening was made by our two waiters who went above and beyond to make it a great night. Thanks guys, you really know how to look after people.

It was lovely - you are very good at allergens and handling of nut allergy’s but maybe you could look at how many of your dishes contain some form of nut - way over the norm
