   Went here with my partner and her friends to celebrate her birthday. We brought our own pie as she prefers it over most desserts. The food was okay. Definitely overpriced for the quality and value of food, but given the location, ambiance, and occasion, it was expected. The service was excellent. When we went to the bathroom, staff opened the door for us, table setting was cleared and reorganized for dessert, it was fantastic. As a server myself, I understand the necessity to upsell. He would recommend drinks, add ons to our meals, coffee after dessert, I respect the hustle. However, as I work as a server too, I know the importance of being honest and communicative with my guests. When I asked for our pie to be brought out so my partner could celebrate her birthday dessert with her friends, I had to clarify twice that no, I did not want to see a dessert menu, I wanted the pie that I brought with us. Our server kindly offered to slice the pie for us which was great as I didn’t bring a knife with us. He made a joke about slicing the pie into 8 pieces for the 4 of us which in hindsight was absolutely ridiculous after finding a $6 dessert slicing fee PER PERSON at the bill. What was the joke? That we were so excited for dessert we wanted 2 slices each, or was it that he could double the dessert slicing fee on the bill? Must we read the fine print before dining out? If I had known that I could have 4 pieces of pie sliced for us for the price of an entree I would have left it at home! The experience left me feeling taken advantage of and the servers are solely focused on sale numbers.

   The service today was horrible. The food was great as always. Sadly this restaurant has lost its luster... it is in dire need of a deep cleaning and refresh and has been for awhile. We repeatedly asked for water... never recieved. $120 for two people to share a crab salad and pasta is very pricey. It makes me sad as a patron of 30 years :(

   The warmth and genuinely of the staff made it very welcoming. Being greeted by Mario, himself, made it a wonderful experience since the beginning. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The food and drinks were amazing and the decor or the place was lovely. The surprise slice of cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday made the visit extra special. Our only regret was not having visited sooner.

   Everything we ordered was excellent. Had the crab cakes, calamari, hamburger, and the pear Marguerita. Crab cakes (3) were small but super delicious; calamari was perfection, especially when dipped in the aioli that came with it. And, the burger was absolutely the best, with a huge delicious and juicy hunk of a meat “pattie”. The food came fast and was hot and fresh. Oh, and the bread, served warm and gratis, was delightfully awesome. Overall an excellent experience.

   En general desde el servicio respetaron mi reserva , fue de inmediato la entrega de la mesa ! Los meseros muy acomedidos y sugirieron lo que yo pedí para desayunar . La comida si tiene sabor , pedí unos lobster scramble y un breackfast pizza , este último delicioso y fuera de lo ordinario . Siempre atentos , también son bilingües . Nos regalaron un pastel por nuestro festejo . Gracias

    Delicious! Great food, service, drinks. Beautiful restaurant and great atmosphere. But very expensive. 900$ for 6 people brunch with 1 appetizer, 1 meal each, a couple desserts, & 1-2 drinks per person.
