   Lunch for 3 midweek was a really pleasant experience at The Kara. The staff are very attentive, the food very tasty and offered in good sized portions. We chose the lunchtime menu but there is also an extensive ala carte menu as well as a good cocktail list to choose from. Three courses plus drinks served inside two hours without feeling rushed. This is definitely worth visiting again!

   We had visited before on a Thursday night, and decided to visit on a Saturday night with friends. The restaurant was packed, which is not an issue, however there was a table of two couples and one of the male occupants was swearing and making lewd gestures about one of the women within their party. There were children on a table next to them and they quickly ate and left. We feel that Management should have done something to request that they keep their voices and language down as it was disturbing everyone on the upstairs level.

   The experience we had at Kara was amazing. The service and food was great. The food portions are big and has a great selection on the menu. Tried Monkfish for the first time and how it was cooked and presented was perfect. Have already booked a table in a few weeks time for my partner birthday

   Lovely food and great service. We asked for a table away from the live music and this was arranged for us, thank you. Only slight complaint is portion size, much too big! I would happily pay the same price for a smaller portion.
