   Lovely evening with friends, the staff were very attentive and went out of their way to look after us. Our compliments to the chef and his team, the food was excellent and a lovely start to the Christmas period. Thank you.

   Delicious menu with a real difference. Full marks for presentation and taste. Carrots cooked with Star Anise? Taste bud tingling! Decor and ambience excellent and staff friendly and welcoming

   The starters and desserts were lovely. Our only slight complaints about the mains were that the vegetables were undercooked. Al dente is fine but these were hard! And to my taste the Turkey and stuffing were under-seasoned.

   Just had a Sunday lunch at the Kings Head. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was well presented with a great variety of vegetables. It was certainly the best roast that we have had for a long time. Excellent attentive staff, well worth a visit.

   My wife and I had the same starter & main course. Starter was an Artichoke & Binham Blue Tart, was a very disappointing dish, very runny little taste, seemed straight out of freezer into microwave. Not good. Main course was Halibut (dry and overcooked), veloute (unsure it was on plate), burnt artichokes, as above poor cooking skills on show. Not cheap for poor quality and certainly won’t go again.

   The food was amazing but we felt really pressured to leave the table as we decided against a dessert and then we were presented with the bill when we had not requested it and that made us feel they wanted us to vacate. It was not a relaxing lunch!

    Always great food! Nice portion sizes. The food combinations give a really nice balance of flavours and textures too. Highly recommended.
