Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.

The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!

Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

    Absolutely stunning food and huge portions. My starter would have been enough, but I still managed most of my main course because it was so delicious! Charming service too. Would definitely come here again … and again!

    Felt rushed.Food arrived very quickly and was poorly presented .Chips were very dry and seemed like they had been reheated.3 meals were served and none of them were exceptional.First time I have had cause to leave a 3 star review but on this occasion I feel like it is warranted.

    Outstanding breakfast, price and quality of produce amazing. Not too busy and had to wait a while once we ordered….but, it was well worth the wait. We will be back…..👌🏻❤️

    Great food and ambiance it was a little chilly but the radiator near us was adjustable. Our coffees were cold but were replaced swiftly and with no charge. Lovely breakfast and cheerful service will visit again
