   We love The Lodge at Tensing Pen, we try to get there for dinner when we are in Negril. The place is beyond beautiful, the service is outstanding, the food is really good and I don't find it to be too expensive considering all of the foregoing. This visit we had my son, who has severe food allergies, with us. Anyone who deals with this issue will know, wait staff is not always diligent or even kind when investigating the safety of food for a person who suffers with life threatening allergies... particularly in Jamaica, sometimes people react to my necessary questions with frustration and a lack of attention to cross contamination issues. Our waiter was thoughtful, paid attention, went to to the chef with my questions and never gave the dreaded answer "he should be fine if he eats that". The chef prepared a beautiful meal for my son and kept him (and me) anxiety free. Knowing that they cared about keeping him safe was priceless. Great experience (again) and we'll be back soon.

   We went at sunset and enjoyed the wonderful view with pre dinner drinks. Food was delicious and service from Nick and everyone we encountered, outstanding. We highly recommend.

   We chose to eat here while staying at Rockhouse. The people were very friendly, great service, another beautiful cliff side setting. We had lobster in coconut sauce, and seafood linguini. Both huge portions we saved for lunch the next day! Highly recommend! Small quaint restaurant.

   My overall experience was great, had an amazing dinner, the staff was super helpful and friendly. I loved the setup of the place. Got bit by what I think was sand fly’s during my time at dinner, which wasn’t so pleasant. Place was a bit hard to find with GPS, which caused us to miss the sunset. Definitely plan to visit again to experience sunset to enjoy the food and the amazing service.

   we were excited to finally dine at tensing pen. food was outstanding❤️ we were four ppl, each dish was great, the best rasta pasta that i’ve tasted❤️ the service was hit and miss, two dishes came out with wrong sides which another server corrected, we had to wait for drinks after our order came, my margarita came with no liquor and the other had a double amount😳, the server was referring to the three women in my group as “my lady” over and over🧐 the same server went on to tell us that the only wages he earns are the tips and if we don’t tip above the already included tip, he does not make a wage🧐 the atmosphere was good but very dark, hard to read the menu, loved the property dog “tensing”❤️ we are looking forward to a return experience❤️

   I had the nut crusted fish , which was done perfectly. The ambiance was beautiful. We had a table that was over looking the ocean - so even tho it was dark, could hear the crashing waves. Also, good cocktails started us off!

   The grilled lobster was cooked perfectly and delicious with a side of plantains. Service was attentive, but allowed us to enjoy a slow pace in a beautiful environment. Highly recommend going just before sunset. The rum cake and ice cream were a divine treat to cap off our evening. My only issue was the taste of olive juice in my mango martini. Thank you to the Lodge for a delightful experience.

    FABULOUS food served in their magical treehouse setting. The restaurant is named after Tensing II (a large dog) that wonders around the tables at a respectful distance. Great ambiance, great service, great decor, and the food is delicious!
