   First time. Pre-theatre dinner. Friendly, attentive & very pleasant waitress took our order. Good service thereafter. Delicious meal, cooked to perfection. Beautiful decor and they have the lighting just right creating a perfect ambience. The lady taking our order had taken on-board from our booking note that it was a pre-theatre meal and the timing was perfect. Close proximity to the theatre too. We all loved it. Highly recommended.

   We have eaten here a few times and really like the ambience, it has a really nice feel which is welcoming and warm. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good. It is definitely one of the finer dining restaurants in Truro and I would recommend it for a good meal but I wouldn't call it outstanding which is why I haven't given it a 5* rating. Never had a bad meal but also not had a WOW meal.

   A superb Sunday roast and pudding, great service, friendly staff and really good value for money given the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

   We don’t eat out often as one of our family struggles with going to new places and loud places. And I will say the only negative I have about our evening was how noisy it was. We couldn’t hear our waitress and it felt super busy and hectic. But it did calm down about a third through our meal as that sitting of people finished and they left, and the atmosphere suddenly changed to relaxed. We did choose a Saturday night for our meal, so I guess we should have expected it to be busy! The hectic start didn’t have any effect on how good our waitress was, she was attentive but not annoyingly and we never had to wait a silly length of time. The food was amazing! The steak was cooked rare as we had asked, and was so tender and tasty! the triple cooked chips and green were also super tasty! My children had burgers which they said were up there with their top burger they’ve had out (it would have been top if the bun had been more toasted apparently!) and the mini doughnuts for pudding were just gorgeous!! We all had a lovely time and would recommend to anyone.

   A clear 9 out of 10 score - could have been 10, but..... Great food let down by Lamb having a bit too much chewy fat. We will be back!!

   Went for a pre theatre birthday meal on a Saturday night for my birthday. Was treated to a free glass of Prosecco. Ordered the potato shavings whilst we viewed the menu which were freshly cooked warm crisps with a lovely dip. Our starters were delicious and our mains outstanding. The staff very friendly and really attentive. And when the bill came it was very reasonable for such a good quality meal. Will def be back!

   We have been coming to the Lonstore for our date nights for quite some time. Always a warm welcome and the food is consistently excellent. Basically we love it.

    1715 booked meal before a show. Food came quickly food was very good would be nice to have a rump steak option, but the sirloin was very good. the salad was very good.
