   I was very disappointed with the Majestic. My wife and I arrived and immediately began detecting a little attitude from the hosting staff. Though it was a crowded Saturday night, it's understandable staff would be a little overwhelmed with orders/requests etc. We placed our orders with our waitress, but did have questions. My wife, who is sensitive to eating certain meat products asked other than the Halibut, was there any other meat products served with this meal? The waitress responded with no. My wife asked about ribollita and what was in it (knowing this is often made with ham), to which our waitress responded with "um, you know... it's like, beans...". I gestured to my wife to just go on and order it because it'll be alright. I asked the waitress what beer was on tap, to which she had me open the menu and look. At restaurants, I ask the the wait staff what is on tap, followed by "of those, which one do YOU recommend?" I am not much of a beer drinker, so my knowledge of beer is limited and will go by the recommendations of others. My steak was ordered well done, but when I received it, it was bloody rare. Showing the steak cross section to my wife, she was equally shocked. I understand that carry-over heat is factored in when taking the steak to the table, but this literally looked like the edges were seared for 2 minutes and served with a cold center. I can eat rare, it's not my preference. My wife's Halibut was cooked well, but the ribollita contained little chunks (cubes) of a mystery meat, we suspect ham. The grits however, were excellent. The only time our waitress checked in on us was at the end when my wife and I were done eating. She asked "how was it?" I gave a frown, shook my head and shrugged my shoulders, to which she chuckled "hahaha, alright" and walked to another table. Once again my wife looks at me and mouths "WTF?!?"in disbelief. The kitchen servers and bus girl was very pleasant and seemed happy to be there.

   my son found this restaurant online and it was such a fine restaurant the menu choices and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality of the food They even had a price fixe 4 course meal with delicious choices I would recommend this restaurant highly give it a try!

   We loved the majestic! It was hard to choose one brunch item because everything looked so good. As anticipated, it was. The ambiance gives it an old-fashioned theatre feel to it and the restaurant has the cutest bar up front for drinks and people watching. Would recommend for a group, date night, or friends get together!

    We booked our reservation on OpenTable without issue and noted that the visit was for my wife's Retirement and Birthday, requesting a quieter, lower-traffic table. The bar was packed for Friday happy hour when we arrived, creating a high-energy, lively atmosphere. The Majestic is a fantastic venue with great food, artsy decor, and an open concept that feels trendy and welcoming—a perfect spot for special occasions or a casual night out. Our food was amazing, and their four-course special was reasonably priced, considering today’s rising costs. Perfect portions with the entree at half the "normal" size. However, the service fell a bit short. The overwhelmed hostess greeted us politely but totally disregarded our reservation request, seating us at a cramped table near the waiter's station and adjacent to another table just 18 inches away. To make matters worse, the smell of old cleaning cloths became increasingly noticeable during dinner. Our server, though pleasant, seemed rushed and overly rehearsed, delivering a scripted greeting without making any eye contact. Despite noting our celebration on the reservation, she asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. While her handwritten note congratulating my wife and the complimentary dessert card were thoughtful gestures, the interaction was highly impersonal, especially when we overheard her repeating the exact rote greeting, comments, and handwritten congratulatory note to the nearby table who were also celebrating a birthday. Overall: The food is exceptional, and I would gladly return for another great meal. However, for those planning a reservation for a "quieter" special occasion, it’s worth noting that the venue has a lively, fast-paced atmosphere and a front-of-house team that may occasionally struggle during busy times. With the right expectations, it’s still a fantastic spot to enjoy great food and vibrant energy. Management: Please share reservation requests with hostesses upon guest arrival.
