   Apart from being asked if I wanted to receive my change when I paid in Cash and if I had paid by card his question would not have even been asked . This spoilt a good meal as my money is mine and it is my choice alone if I wish to give a gratuity or not .

   Haven't visited Malt House for a while, friends recommended a visit and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed a great meal, good value and nice relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly visit again soon.

    lovely birthday meal out for 6. portions were good size and service was attentive and efficient considering how busy they were on a sunday lunchtime. we had 4 roast sunday lunches and two lamb shanks followed by various desserts. asked us several times if everything was ok. two slight negatives. food could have been hotter and desserts weren’t bought to table at the same time. two people had to wait for theirs and as the others ice creams were melting they carried on eating without them. not really an issue to us to be fair and everyone enjoyed their desserts and the portions were a good size. this is our third visit and will definitely return.
