   Savannah was our server and we had an amazing experience. It was my partner’s birthday and we felt so special! For only being open a couple weeks the service, food, and overall vibe is just amazing! We will be back!

   Food, drinks and service were very good . We just don't understand why every new restaurant in Down town st Pete has to have the music so loud that we cannot talk to each other ,or the server for that matter.

   So happy to see a Melting Pot close to us again. It was a sad day when they closed the one on 4th. When I got the email from them that 4/11 was national cheese fondue day and they were having a special grande cru cheese during April for their anniversary we had to go! Made the reservation n OpenTable then headed down. So the lace is very modern. The inside / outside bar was nice. Will definitely be back for the happy hour which we didn’t even know they had till we got there. Happy hour 3-6 was not advertised on their site. Got a table by the window since it was so nice. Definitely brighter than other melting pots, especially the one on 4th where it was so dark. Because of that and the loudness it was so much less intimate. The loudness was really annoying. Even our servers had to yell. Pretty much the same menu with a few extras. We both got the 4 course the picked different proteins so we could try each others. Didn’t like that we had to order everything all at once but I guess you should know what courses you want right? Come to find out the Grande Cru cheese was not available. Still not totally sure why. Everyone seemed to not know what i was talking about. I showed them my email from them. We tried the cheddar bacon and whiskey. Very tasty but never melted enough for a good fonduey consistency. Like they needed to add a little cream. A new item are the side kicks. These are toppings to put on the cheese and desserts. Neat option. Hang on to what you don’t finish after the cheese, they are great on the proteins too! Savanah our server was a rockstar. I would give her 5 stars. She handle everything professional and took our displeasure about the things I mentioned above in stride. Because we have had so many great experiences at melting pots our expectations were high but we were a little disappointed. The loudness, not getting the special cheese and lack of intimacy was a let down. This is there first week so I am sure it will get better. Would hav

   Opening night this location is brighter than most other locations. I’m happy to hear this is a test Kitchen. Yes , being it was the first night of this location they will need to work out the kinks. Everyone working went over and beyond to take care of my husband and I . We had our first date 30 years ago at the Tampa location. Since then we have been to many locations and always leave full and happy. We traveled to Zurich and tried their fondue and we both agreed this is our favorite fondue and now we don’t have to go far to enjoy. We wish this location much success! Also we did miss the blue cheese dipping sauce and the Pineapple with the chocolate but also enjoyed the new grapes and broccoli with our cheese.

   Horrible service, they did not plan accordingly for their 1st night. Waited over 1 hour for a chocolate fondue. Manager did not care and seemed useless and we left before the chocolate came out and they still charged us for it! SMH melting pot is better than that.

   The food is just so darn good and fun to eat. Happy to have one in St. Pete again. We were there on opening night and the kitchen was running behind (to be expected), but the friendliness and attentiveness of wait staff and management more than made up for it.

   This was the opening night of the Downtown St. Petersburg location and we were anxious to dine here since we heard they came back to St. Pete. The restaurant is beautiful and the indoor/outdoor bar setup is a fantastic idea. We were greeted by someone who opened the door and were promptly seated, which I am glad since there is not a large area inside to wait. We also had our 7 month old with us unexpectedly but everyone was very nice, attentive and made accommodations for us. Sydney was our waitress and was absolutely amazing!! She was very knowledgeable, sweet, kind and personable. Will definitely ask for her next time!! We had a slight error with our main entree but her and the manager, Damaris (sp?), took take of it quickly and was also very kind. And along with the other manager(s), we felt very valued and will be back soon. The food quality was great, as always, and even tried the new Dulchai De Leche chocolate and highly recommend it! The space is not as intimate as the other locations, so it is a little louder than expected, but it fits the location.

   Loved it! I’m totally digging the noisy, more sports and family feel restaurant vibe the New Melting pot gives off. It’s not bougie or stuffy and just a fun and family friendly atmosphere which I consider to be keeping up with the times. Food was fantastic, cheese girly for life!
