Went for supper on November 5, 2022. Opentable accepted a reservation for Mitchell Block even though it was closed for renovations (for several months at this point) and the Mitchell Block does not use Opentable anymore!!! Thankfully the restaurant upstairs was open and had room. So this review is for the restaurant upstairs, Supreme Macaroni Co. (173 McDermot). The food was good, service was very friendly, nice ambience. They served the food family style. I would recommend it. I am now very leery of using Opentable because of this. I will always double check my reservation with the restaurant now.

Had a great meal. Liver mousse was great, octopus a little too over cooked, Brussels sprouts were amazing and the steak was also great. Cooked medium like we asked.

The homemade pasta at the restaurant is next level. We love the friendly service, the atmosphere and the wine - but we keep coming back because of the care and passion that obviously goes into every single dish. Amazing!

As always, great food and service. Love this place -- best restaurant in the city! My only problem is choosing what to have off the menu as everything is so good. COVID-safe with well spaced tables. Great spot for special occasions or any time you want to make an evening special.
