Welcome to The Mountain Room. Portland Chef Harding Lee Smith & staff are back for another unforgettable season at Sunday River. Using the best of Maine centric purveyors as backbone & honored by USA TODAY as one of the "Best Ski Restaurants", The Mountain Room is a can't miss experience. Located mid mountain at North Peak lodge, TMR mixes distinctive hospitality with tremendous views of the surrounding Mahoosuc Range.
Reservations are highly recommended. Due to high volume, please advise- Late reservations will only be held for 10 minutes. A season pass or day ticket is required to access lift. Please call or stop in with any questions. We look forward to serving you!

    I have booked several times for a bar window seat. We are always seated in the worst seats so wondering why they raven offer this as an option. Food was good. Ambiance a bummer.

    Staff was not in positive spirits across the board. Very disappointing at 11:30 am When it hasn’t been open very long for the day.

    Food and service was unreal, so was the blood mary. So happy we made a reservation here so we could experience the Mountain Room. Extremely worth it!

    Another nice experience at the mountain room. The pork tacos are delicious and the various toast are plentiful. Service is friendly, attentive, and capable.

    Always love the Mountain Room! Host staff is always there with a smile. Ricotta toast and oxtail are lights-out. Will be back ASAP!
