Welcome to The Mountain Room. Portland Chef Harding Lee Smith & staff are back for another unforgettable season at Sunday River. Using the best of Maine centric purveyors as backbone & honored by USA TODAY as one of the "Best Ski Restaurants", The Mountain Room is a can't miss experience. Located mid mountain at North Peak lodge, TMR mixes distinctive hospitality with tremendous views of the surrounding Mahoosuc Range.
Reservations are highly recommended. Due to high volume, please advise- Late reservations will only be held for 10 minutes. A season pass or day ticket is required to access lift. Please call or stop in with any questions. We look forward to serving you!

The food here is spectacular. Small dishes to share is the perfect choice. Only complaint would be that the music was a bit too loud to have a comfortable conversation.

So great to experience the Mountain Room for another ski season! Staff is superbly trained, friendly and welcoming. Food is on point as always. Deviled eggs and whipped ricotta toast were especially delicious. Looking forward to our next visit!

Everything was great but had a 9 year old with us and there wasn’t anything on the menu that was kid friendly.

Awesome atmosphere. Cheese board had lots of fun sides. Tuna tartar was delicious. Staff is tremendous.

What a great spot, especially for a cold beer on a spring skiing day. Hard to believe early March is spring skiing but that's what we're seeing in 2024. We had a last-minute reservation and showed up a little early. Thankfully there was a table outside as inside was incredibly loud. We had some beer, some ahi tuna, and a pork sandwich. All great (though the pork sandwich too spicy for our taste). Great presentation and fun vibe!
