   Our server Josslyn was great, very attentive and on top of the service. The food, however, was losing and just OK. I ordered the Elk osso buco for example, while the meat was tender as all get out, there was just no flavor, very bland. We then ordered the banana Foster bread pudding for dessert. The bananas were good, but the bread posing was like a wrung out dish rag. After a couple of bites we pushed it to the side. Overall, I would definitely pass on going back.

   Incredible food and outstanding service. We came here for a celebration, and they completely went above and beyond to make us feel special.

   An Unforgettable Birthday Dinner! My husband and I celebrated my birthday at The Oak Room & Bar, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our waitress was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She made sure we had everything we needed and truly elevated our experience. The food was some of the best we've had in the area! Every dish was beautifully plated, and the flavors were on point. You can tell the chef put a lot of care into his craft. The ambiance was perfect for a special occasion, and we enjoyed every moment of our evening. We will definitely be coming back in the future! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch fine dining food and service.

   A casino steakhouse that tries to present itself as a fine dining restaurant. Sadly, it is in the middle of a casino/racetrack, and so the patrons tend to be louder and obnoxious. I had the ribeye, which was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The problem with the food was the sides. They were hit and miss. The baked potato, asparagus, and burgundy mushrooms were all excellent. The crispy brussels sprouts and couscous were less appealing.

   Dear Michael, We regret that your experience was less than exceptional. Our goal is to provide all of our guests with the best possible experience. In regard to the sides, I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed some of our offerings but apologize that not all of them appealed to you. In regard to the ambiance, unfortunately, during racing season, you are correct that some of the diners can be louder than what our room tries to maintain and offer. We would love to have you give us another try on either a Sunday or Monday, when the racing crowd is not in full force. If you are a local, we have our off season as well, which offers that much quieter, intimate dining experience that so many people enjoy in the OAK room. We hope to see you again.    Overrated. Food, (we had french onion soup, ribeye, filet mignon, 3 cheese mac, baked pototo, 3 chocolate cake), did not have much flavor and did in fact need the offered seasoning that we did not partake of. French onion soup was good and the 3 cheese mac was also good. For a high dollar establishment, you would think there would be a better flavor profile with the beef without having to add seasoning. Service was good and very detailed but 2 hours for supper is too long for a couple.

    Food was great, service exceptional!! Marna (sp) was the perfect wait staff, showed the right amount of attention, made great suggestions, handled all our needs.
