   Very cute little area they made. It was freezing!! I’ll be honest, I didn’t look at the menu before we arrived. Very limited menu. Wine menu is a joke. We had a drink and and pimento cheese fries. The fries were incredible!! We didn’t stay and eat supper.

   Palm fries appetizer, well let’s just say we have a saying in my family and it is that if you have to drench a dish in sauce, it is a good indication of 1. Lazy chef and/or 2. A poor quality dish. Fries were very soggy and unappetizing but the sauce had a good flavor, just would be much better on the side. I ordered the salad with pistachios, beets and goat cheese as an entree but it was the size of a meek side salad (at $11 would expect more) and the lettuce was warm, soft and wilted. A total of four, tiny cubed pickled beets sat atop. I stopped and grabbed grilled nuggets from a fast food joint on the way home as my entree. My boyfriend had the pork sandwich and said it was not good quality at all. The potato salad that came with his meal was very good! Many of the batteries were out on the hanging lights which distracted from the lovely display and took away from the ambiance. Staff was very friendly and professional. Hostess was absolutely precious and dressed to kill. Our server seemed overwhelmed but she did a great job. The young man bringing out dishes had a hard time knowing where they belonged but eventually figured it out. Short staffed maybe? I can’t recommend this place to others and won’t be back but the staff made up for the low quality food so we still had a good time. Loved the booths and chairs, seemed like a 90s vibe. The last time we dined at Mary Eddy’s, the food was very bad as well but we will absolutely give it another shot once the remodel is over as pre-pandemic, it was one of my favorite places in town. We dined at 8pm on a Saturday if that helps.

   Loved the service, ambience and art gallery! Especially appreciate the nod to African Americans through the arts. Highly recommended

   Loved the food! Loved the atmosphere! My only dislike was being seated at a table way too close to another party. Uncomfortably close. There were other tables available, so not sure why we had to be seated there. Otherwise, would definitely return!

   My sister and I went here for her birthday, it was so beautiful in there. Super fun for a girls night. Food and drinks were amazing, definitely going to come back with mom and grandma next time!

    Loved it, I hope Mary Eddy's incorporates some of the menu into their normal restaurant. So sad it's only temporary. The chicken kabobs were outstanding.
