   First we had 14 in our group. Our server took awhile getting to us for our drinks That was fine we were waiting on other people to join us. Then we ordered our drinks. Our waitress never bought out enough creamers and sugar for our coffee and I don't know a restaurant that doesn't serve decaf coffee. Apparently they do not have it. I drink decaf coffee only. When we placed our orders for our food she had asked how the bill was to be there should've been 5 checks with the food and drinks for each guest check. But that was a mess. We had three coffees on our check there should've only been one coffee because they didn't have decaf coffee I drank water. Our waitress would bring our food out and place it down at the end of the table or have it to my sister in law to pass around. Now my sister in law isn't the waitress nor should we be passing around hot cups of coffee and warm food. Yes, the food was warm.

   The service was a little slow, but the server was also slammed. She did the best she could! He food was wonderful and we enjoyed it! We will be back this weekend and we’re taking our kids!

   Our first time here. SERVICE AND FOOD was AMAZING! It was on a Monday night so it was quiet but they had country music playing. We had the BBQ pork and sausage it was so yummy and the corn bread, baked beans and coleslaw!! You will love it here.

   Food was excellent. Service a bit slow. We sat down at 6:10, food didn’t arrive until 6:50.

   We have eaten here several times and the food and service were great. This time was on a Saturday evening and they weren’t too busy when we got there, but quickly filled up. Our waitress was slow and forgetful: maybe it was just an off day for her. One person in our party got their salad before the meal, two others came after the meal. We were never offered refills, and had to wait 15 minutes on the check, and at least another 15 just to pay it. We overlooked the mediocre, slow service because we should all have a little grace for people, but the meal itself was great. We love their smoked wings, brisket, fish (it was huge), and their salads.

   Loved the New Years eve ambiance with a roaring 20s costume party. The wait staff all looked awesome! We had excellent food and service. Disappointed only that we missed getting Lobster and filet mignon. Sold out. Who knew that could happen in Hillsboro Oh where Lobster is unheard of. Lol

   We made reservations just in case but got there and got sat right away. Waitress was very pleasant. Bar service was slow. We had our appetizers before our bar drinks came. Food was cooked well and had good flavor. They were just setting up for live music when we were finishing.

    This was my husband and I's second time to eat at the Patriot House and the first time for our kids. We ate there with our adult son, daughter son n law and granddaughter for my husband's birthday. The waitress was very attentive and the food was prompt which was great since we had a 15 month old with us. The food was very good and the portions were a good sized which was awesome.
