   Really disappointed with our visit. It was a Tuesday and very crowded. Very neglectful service. Server was very nice nice but had way too many tables. There for an hour too long. Food mediocre. Fish was so fishy. Prob not go back.

   Hightop happy hour? Say less. Christian was incredible - provided top notch service and experience. Pearl Short North never misses, and everything on the menu is a guarantee. It will always be my go-to!

   The Pearl is an institution and the food is and has continued to be excellent. The jalapeno corn bread is amazing! Scallops were perfect and service top notch.

   Food and service was excellent! Do note that the restaurant can be very dark making it hard to read the menus but that in no way takes away from the experience. Highly recommend the Tater Tots if you are a potato fan!

   Service was top knotch. The place was very busy on a Tuesday night but food was delivered fairly quickly. My companion really liked the shrimp and grits. I had fish and chips -- just okay. The fish breading was basically tasteless and the tartar sauce had zero dill pickle or relish flavor. We both had dessert. Again, my companion like the peach maple pie. I had the banana cream pie -- again, basically tasteless. The only banana flavor was from the 2 banana slices on the top. The crust was too thick. Prices seemed a bit high , expecially for the quality. Overall, just an okay dining experience.

    This was the first time we ever had a bad experience. The food is always top-notch. This time our meat was not well done as we wanted it to be. We both were unable to see it until we got home. Because of the low light. The waiter did a good job.
