   The table before us was 20 minutes late - which pushed back our booking 20 minutes I don’t really agree with the late table being honoured their full table time over us, but they gave us a bottle of wine as an apology

   I had the veggie curry which was absolutely delicious and my daughter is still raving about the venison burger. An excellent venue, staff friendly and helpful and delicious food what more could you want.

   well above average food, great setting- quieter in garden room (noisy in main restaurant as open plan with bar area) . service was superb

   No welcome on arrival. Had to search for staff. Table wasn’t ready for us even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Didn’t get asked for a drinks order before being asked if we were ready to order food. No wine list on the table. Mains were very nice. Desert wasn’t as good. It took 30 minutes to clear away the desert plates and again the place was not busy. Staff seemed to be more interested in chatting among themselves than providing good customer service. Second visit to this restaurant and we probably won’t return.

   Interesting and varied menu. Would have been nice to have had a couple more vegetarian options to choose from but the dishes we had were nice. Good value for money and large portions.

   From entering through a beautiful door to being seated the entire evening was just amazing. The staff were so helpful and friendly we were made to feel welcome not just a “job” but genuinely wanting to make your whole experience perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and different we chose the Indian burger wow that was awesome. We never felt rushed we were given time to savour our food and not rushed into ordering coffee or dessert. And of course not forgetting the amazing staff
