The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

Food was fantastic with the right amount of kitschy pirate fun! Susan was delightful.

We had a good experience. We booked a reservation and got there a little early but got to our table at our exact reservation time. The server, Terry, was great! He told some funny jokes and was very attentive despite the busy night at the restaurant. I was with my boyfriend and he ordered the Talapia with crab meat. Each meal has designated sides but you are able to change them, well, we asked and they were accommodating. He really enjoyed the dish. I ordered the fried chicken. It is a lot and I only ate half of a piece. You get a breast, a thigh, a leg and a wing. It is smothered in honey and pecans. I could have done without that but it was delicious. We also shared a piece of the best pecan pie I have ever had! A big bonus is that they have their own parking lot so there were no issues with parking. We will come back during our next Savannah trip!

Food was average, the award winning chicken was dry and overcooked. The vegetables were cooked well, but average tasting. The ambience was good and the history of the building interesting. The gift shop was large but out of many items. Overall, an average experience for a $$ meal.

Very disappointed in the service, food and ambience. We have heard so many good things about the experience here and it was mediocre at best. Good was just ok, service was very lackluster. We barely saw our server. Felt rushed and mechanical. There was nothing special about this at all. We are locals to Savannah and brought out of town guests. We were almost embarrassed by the experience we had built up for them
