The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

    Our appetizers and meals exceeded our expectations and the service was exceptional. The house has a bit of history as well, which made it an interesting place to eat.

    Overall it was okay. Server took a long time serving us and was not in a good mood. The bartenders took a very long time, and we got to see an argument between staff while sitting at the bar. The food was good though.

    Had a lovely dinner, great service, and a nice vibe. We all loved what we ordered, and are glad we kept on walking as we passed all the other restaurants on the way over. If you want just a nice pleasant dinner with some elbow room and a historic feel, give this place a try :-)

    The server and time getting the food was good. The fried green tomatoes had too much breading and wasn't cooked enough. We enjoyed the she crab soup, it had a little kick to it. The blackened snapper was only ok. The grits were too thick. For the price, there are many other options to consider as well.
