The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

Amazing experience! It is perfect for family or just a fun night out. It’s not hokey or cheesy but there is a little pirate humor (although I think you can play this up or down) our girls enjoyed themselves immensely. Lots to look at and fun ghost stories.

We ended up sitting in the Anne Bonney room—the ambiance there was not nearly as nice as other areas of the restaurant. I also wish they had more vegetarian dinner options. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Food was excellent. The crab dip, Savannah fried shrimp and crab cake with shrimp was all delicious. Tom was an amazing server. Enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner very much.

Amazing food and service! Will definitely return. Would like to see lights at each table rather than bare bulbs for a little better atmosphere. Still a solid Savannah staple.

Reservations, especially on a holiday weekend are highly recommended. We were early for our reservation and watched numerous people come in to be there was at least an hour wait.

Great experience as always. This is our 9th year in a row having Valentine’s dinner at the pirate house. It’s great every time.

Was able to get an early dinner reservation at The Pirates’ House on Valentine’s Day. My husband ordered the pasta special and I had the pecan glazed chicken they are famous for. Both dishes were delicious. Tom was our server and he was attentive and efficient. I would definitely come back to The Pirates’ House again when I’m in town.

To be fair - we waited until 3 weeks before our Valentine’s Day long weekend in Savannah to book our restaurants, so a 4:30 pm reservation at the Pirate’s House was one of our few choices. First timers - read the reviews - let’s give it a try. Crowded and noisy with a majority of the patrons families with multiple young children, although the history of the establishment itself was interesting. Service was very good with Rachel. Room where we were seated was rustic and the menu and meal was in the dark, with no light anywhere near/above/on our table. My $15 Valentine’s Day Strawberry Bellini was tasteless. The food when served was lukewarm and blah with no flavor. Very disappointing and no need to return. Sorry…

Connor was awesome! We had the snapper, shrimp parm and fried shrimp platter. I especially loved how the fried shrimp wasn’t greasy at all. The fries were seasoned well and crispy!
