The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

What a nice surprise! The restaurant is really rustic and nice. Definitely not commercial and silly. Parking on site is a big bonus for the Savannah area. Dinner was really good! The portions were large and the prices were reasonable considering it's Savannah. We started with the blackened shrimp and corn fritter appetizer which was yummy. Three of us got their 'award winning' fried chicken. It was delicious. Plus you get 4 pieces of chicken! Another got the Seafood Harvest and loved it. We'll definitely go back.

Here’s a sample review you can use or adapt: We had an absolutely delightful experience at the Pirates House! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of unique and comfort. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcomed. The food was exceptional, with every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The fried green tomatoes as appetizer and the pecan fried chicken were absolute standouts. You can tell the chef puts great care and thought into the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable experience. ♥️

Grouper and swordfish (nightly special) were done to perfection. Sides were cold and had to be sent back, but new sides came out in 5-6 minutes. Crab dip appetizer was fine, but didn't wow us. Wine list not so good - low end basic wines. Service was very good. Overall 4/5 stars

A memorable and fabulous experience. The food was quite good. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the food. The service was over the top, and Brian, our waiter didn't miss a detail to make our experience a wonderful finish to our visit to Savanah. We will be back on our next visit.

Salmon was not edible. Yuck. So fishy and gross. Told the server who didn’t seems to know what to do. Didn’t refill drinks. Had to ask for bread like all other guests received.

Pirates House is a very noisy restaurant Many of us were happy with the food. Those who ordered shrimp, however, were very dissatisfied
