   Food was lovely highly recommend the roast. Waiter/ Waitress service excellent. Just a long wait for the food and could have been hotter.

   Just excellent. Brilliant service and the menu was a delight the hog kofta and bacon chop were lovely and then topped off with a really nice rice pudding with apple. The best pub grub I’ve had in a while. Well done to all at the Plough for a lovely afternoon.

   Lovely place to go to. Really glad we booked before we arrived in the area for a weekend away. Great ambience, no music proper pub & gorgeous dining area. The staff were so nice too.

   3 Adults dining on Thursday 10th April 8pm We always eat at the Plough every time we visit Rye. The staff & service is excellent and the food is exceptional. There is always a (different to pub grub) Vegetarian option which never disappoints. Unfortunately on this occasion we were too full to order a desert ;-) We are always made to feel welcome with our four legged friend, Spirit, the cavapoo. I cannot recommend eating here highly enough. you will not be disappointed.

   We had a really good meal here. Very generous portions & unusual combinations that work well together. The onion bhaji scotch egg being an example. My chicken pie was delicious & had a very tasty leek sauce. We were too full for dessert. Nicely kept beer too & very friendly service. I would recommend The Plough.

    Excellent food, good vibes, charming team. The wine list looks killer too, though I didn’t have a chance to sample it.
