The food was creative and delicious. The atmosphere was lovely. The only issue was that our server barely noticed or checked on us. Seemed to be chatting with his colleagues instead. It took a very long time to get our check, then after 15 minutes or so, we had to flag someone down to take our card and pay the bill.

We very much enjoyed our waiters and the host! Atmosphere is very nice! Most of their food is outstanding! Squeaky bar chairs are pretty loud! Space is tight so there’s not a lot of privacy? Hubby got a burger well done and he asked for medium rare? Trout app was too much dill? Trout itself was dry, which did not pair well with the phyllo? Everything else was wonderful!

Hostess was rushing and came across rude. My food was undercooked (quail) and got me sick. Food took time to come out.

Pros: Location inside the DAM, vegetarian Reuben (albeit very messy), artwork Cons: Very limited offerings for kids, minimalist decor (too spartan), small portion sizes (salmon benedict was miniature), price ($220 lunch for 5 with no appetizers)! We were celebrating a birthday and not even a scoop of ice cream was complimentary :( Used to love Palettes so was disappointed in the Ponti - it was just average at best - sadly will not return.

Five adults going to the Denver Art Museum and stopped first for lunch. The entire staff was wonderful, helpful and attentive. The menu is short but with variety. The salmon was wonderful, and the two in our party who ordered grilled cheese sandwiches said they were the best ever (really, who knew a grilled cheese could be so fabulous? Surprise !!!) it was a little too chilly to sit at the outdoor patio, but the acoustics indoors were fine .

The Ponti is a great place to dine. The menu has enough variety to cater to various people’s tastes and the quality of the food is top notch. I wish the seating offered a bit more space between diners. Even with that quibble, we had excellent, friendly service from Steven K. We all look forward to returning soon.

This was the first time I got to do dinner here after the “wild things” exhibit at the museum. Good drinks, great food and lovely atmosphere!
